I recently received an email asking why I mark all my work "Offensive" or "Adult" material. The reason is simple... It forces you the viewer to decide if you want to see that kind of material. It forces you the viewer to question your own morals and beliefs about what is acceptable in your society. It forces you the viewer to turn off your Adult content filter. and If you turn off your Adult content filter and then are faced with adult content... you have given up your right to complain that that work is offensive... even when it is not!
